The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers towards the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering services including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency reported it really is alarmed about the large amount of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some large variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no completely functional office dedicated to service here the area every day. The services point made for intervention encounters a high inflow of prospective beneficiaries, that makes it hard for the Workplace to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra assets to enable the servicing of all shoppers and boost access to Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
